Rain and cold. Again.
We tought that arriving in the evening, and departing the following day in the afternoon was enough to visit Heimaey. That may be true if you arrive on a sunny day. With low clouds and fog, we could not experience the island as we hoped.
We surely will return and stop for longer.
After the return ferry we headed to the capital city. We had to give the rental car back and check in at the hotel.
In the evening we had a small walk to the Hallgrimskirkja and back.
