On this day we got the new rental car.
It was less spacious than the previous one, but higher. My father decided to stay at Keflavik for one week, while my mother and I went around with the new car. For him, in the backseats, the ride was too rough.
From Keflavik we drove south and along the coast. From Selfoss north to Gullfoss, where we stayed for two nights.
From now on, we had to change our plan. The melting snow kept many internal roads closed (south of Landmannalaugar, F26 and F910).
